The world didn’t end in screams. There were no grand lights, no warnings, no panic. There wasn’t even any pain, the only common language amongst all living things. The final shroud fell on Earth in silence. In darkness.
Humanity’s last flirt with nature’s laws ended in tragedy. A simple miscalculation, which gave birth to the most destructive force in the universe – The Black Hole. A raging god that consumed everything that was known. Sometimes I wonder, if someone somewhere from afar witnessed that eerie spectacle. If some other, distant civilization observed our demise in awe of this phenomenon.
Our story doesn’t end here though. A collective consciousness – Post Sapiens cult, which transferred itself into a digital form, has foreseen that human luck will finally end. Soon before the cataclysm struck, a ship was shot into the void of space, with an unaware but conscious copy of the universe, which keeps on roaming the black emptiness. Live 2.0 goes on, but this time, there is someone to guide them.

Post Sapiens 101 – The stage of our stories. The Vessel, with a conscious but unaware living universe. Humanity reversed past the point when earth’s destruction was inevitable. Guided by me.
lyrics
Here we are
In deep space now
A hundred years away
Since old days
Here we are
In deep space now
A hundred years away
Since it all began
Our ship
Left in time
Just hours
Before Earth demise
Humans
Petty lives
Devoured
Blue planets life
Though awful
As it is
They had it
Predestined in genes
Such a vast
Potential
That lost so bad
With sex and bats
They dreamt of
A paradise
And maybe
That's what they got
As beings
Without flesh
Just data
Lost in space
Here we are
In deep space now
A hundred years away
Since old days
Here we are
In deep space now
A hundred years away
Since it all began
We see what's shown
And That is that
But It's hard to know
From where's that light
What is real
Hard to Tell
In the end
It's all faith
Vessel lost in time
That gives people
One more chance
Vessel lost in space
That gave people
Another day
Even though earths deceased
A universe is alive
Universe is alive
In this black vast hive
Even though earths deceased
A copy of the world
Copy of the world
Is true alive and sound
Even though earths deceased
A quantum universum
Quantum universum
Is repeating itself
To find a different patterns
Of bio population
Bio population
That doesn't kill itself
Vessel lost in time
That gives people
One more chance
Vessel lost in space
That gave people
Another day
I am just a keeper
Of this Universum
This Universum
Thats alive but not aware
No such thing as windows
To see through their worlds veil
See through their worlds veil
Or inhale the breeze of space
I am just a god here
That sometimes interferes
Sometimes interferes
And shows these apes right leads
To what end it all goes
That no one really knows
No one really knows
That no one really knows
Here we are
In Deep space now
A hundred years away
Since old days
Here we are
In Deep space now
A hundred years away
Since it all began

I never cared about symphonic metal at all. I do very much care about folk as well as progressive metal, and so I couldn't resist after reading the third exceptional AMG review for Wilderun in a row. 'Sleep...' has been on my radar for quite some time, being graced by one of the most beckoning cover arts I have ever seen. The band more than lives up to its reputation, composing great musical pieces from start to finish. I absolutely love the multitude of influences being put together here. David Fischer

The songs are masterfully composed and flow together beautifully, and the orchestration is exactly how I want metal orchestration to sound: full, playable by a real orchestra, and just as important to the music as the vocals, drums, guitar, and bass are. tonycordeshimself
Streamlining their post-metal sprawl through a sharper melodic focus, the Scottish juggernauts' third LP is labyrinthine yet approachable. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 25, 2024
